Here are three easy tips for healthier hair
1. Use a non-lathering, sulfate, paraben, and silicone free cleanser on your scalp. We have become addicted to the lather in shampoos. It dries our hair and strips our hair of the natural oils it needs to stay healthy and shiny.
2. Use a wide tooth comb or your fingers to detangle when your hair still has the conditioner in it. Our hair is it’s most fragile when it’s wet. Brushes will pull and break the hair when very wet. **Curly Girls should NEVER brush their hair.
3. When your hair is very wet do not rub your towel on your hair. This goes for ALL hair types and textures. The friction will cause breakage and the dreaded FRIZZ. Dab or blot your hair with an old cotton t-shirt or microfiber towel. This makes a HUGE difference especially if you battle static.
